SLAM (simultaneous localization and mapping) Navigation system The Lidar (Light Detection and Ranging) Sensors measure distance to a target by illuminating it with laser light and measuring the reflected light with a sensor. Differences in laser return timing and wavelengths can then be used to make the contour map of the area. EPIKSANIBOTS scan the environment using its advanced lidars to obtain its contour map, set the path and drive autonomously. The multiple inbuilt smart sensors for obstacle detection & avoidance allows Epikbots make changes if needed .The SLAM navigating system allows EPIKSANIBOTS travel from the charging station, through hallways, up and down elevators if necessary, and perform the disinfection without human intervention before returning to recharge
ADJUSTABLE PATROL SPEED This allows the operator to decide the necessary duration of the disinfection cycle and set the proper patrol speed (0.2-0.7m/second) to ensure thorough and 99.9% sanitization. Generally it takes 15 minutes to disinfect a standard hospital room and 20 minutes an operation theater.
